🌟 Rum 101: We’ll kick things off by diving into the fascinating history and production of rum. From the Caribbean islands to the shores of South America, you’ll learn how this versatile spirit is crafted and what makes each type unique.
🥃 Tasting Experience: Prepare your palate for a sensory delight as we taste and compare four distinct styles of rum: clear, aged, spiced, and flavored. You’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the nuances and characteristics that make each variety special.
🍍 Tiki Time: Once we’ve mastered the basics, it’s time to get creative! We’ll guide you through the art of making two tiki cocktails that will transport you straight to a beachside paradise.

Our journey begins with a brief introduction, followed by hands on measuring, shaking, and garnishing.
ABOUT THE BARTENDING ACADEMY:
The Bartending Academy is a series of exotic mixology classes featuring your favorite spirits as well as some rare treats. Each class features one special category of spirits, from vodka to scotch, cognac to piscos, this series has it all. Take one class or take them all! Every participant gets automatically entered in a raffle drawing to win some serious swag. Students who attend five or more classes will get a mixology certificate and be invited to compete in a bartender showdown at the end of the series. Perfect for a hobby bartender who wants real world experience, but also great for complete novices. We’ll meet you where you’re at regarding skill level!
